Identity and Territory. Views from Calabria
Identity and Territory. Views from Calabria
From May 12th to June 7th 2026 the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria will host the photographic exhibition Identity and Territory. Views from Calabria, curated by Bluocean srl.
Admission to the exhibition, located in Piazza Paolo Orsi, the Museum’s inner courtyard, is free of charge and open to the public.
The exhibition project, funded by the Calabria Region, with the patronage of National Geographic and in partnership with the MArRC, presents an intense and contemporary visual exploration of Calabria.
Through the perspectives of the participating photographers, the exhibition portrays contradictions, millennia-old traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and the complex, vibrant identity of the region.
As part of the project, on May 14th, 15th and 16th, the Museum’s Terrace will host the workshop “Photo Editing: The Study and Selection of Images between History, Current Affairs and Artificial Intelligence”, led by Rosy Santella, photo editor at the weekly magazine Internazionale, in collaboration with Bluocean.
