The anti-violence hotline 1522 is the service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Equal Opportunities, active 24 hours a day, every day of the year and accessible free of charge throughout Italy, both by fixed and mobile network.
The aim of 1522 is to support women victims of stalking and violence, inside and outside the home, through workers who offer psychological and legal support, useful information and direct them towards social health services, public and private, present on the national territory and included in the official map of the Presidency of the Council – Department for Equal Opportunities, which can be consulted on the dedicated website.
