«The immense historical and artistic value of our country’s cultural heritage must be protected and valued, thus favouring an inclusive and responsible fruition». This was stated by Fabrizio Sudano, director of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, during the Winter Edition of the Forum in Masseria, organized at the Terme di Saturnia by Bruno Vespa and Comin & Partners. «In this sense digital technologies can certainly play a key role, especially for our Museum which, thanks to its collection of artifacts that tell the story of Magna Graecia, assumes a particularly important value in the cultural promotion of a vast territory. On these premises, we have been carrying out for some time a significant process of internationalization of the Museum; the objective is to make it a reference point on a global level, able to attract scholars, researchers and visitors from all over the world, in the belief that the archaeological heritage of Calabria, with its extraordinary finds, can offer a universal key to reading the ancient civilizations of the Mediterranean, strengthening the connection between cultures and promoting a deeper and shared understanding of our common history».
