The Italian Society of Architectural Technology has promoted a meeting in the Paolo Orsi room of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, on Thursday, June 14th at 6.45 pm. It was reserved for participants of the international conference “The production of the project” (on June 14th and 15th at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria) .The conference on the theme: “The MArRC and the Bronzes of the fifth century BC ” was by the head of the MArRC Library, Giacomo Maria Oliva. They greeted the guests: the director Carmelo Malacrino and the president of the SITdA Scientific Society Maria Teresa Lucarelli.
The SITdA has contributed to the enhancement of the archaeological heritage of the MArRC with the support for the conservative restoration of two “marble fragments” of late Roman age through the project ArtBonus: a foot and a hand of boxer, which the director Malacrino showed to the guests.
The meeting was exciting in a square Paolo Orsi crowded by over a hundred teachers from around the world.
The audience was entertained by Giacomo Maria Oliva with an exciting conference, which the high museum official called a “simple conversation, in memory of Homer …”. In the background, the wonderful Bronzes from Riace.
